In Chinese media, no one really spends much time talking about this state visit. They know it is just a distraction, one out of many, from Trump. China plays along, even giving US two pandas as tangible response. But nothing more.

When one country buys time, it provides equal time to its rival. Usually it is the weaker side which gains from this "time game". Similarly, the deterrence is needed by the weaker side. In the context US - China, it is China which needs time to built deterrence, and in case of India - Pakistan, it is Pakistan which needs time to built deterrence.

The US State Department changed its India policy again in the Biden term & now is fully bypassing India (regime changes/tilt in Bangladesh, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Pakistan) to pressure China directly. US sees India thro' prism of its China or Russia policy. India wants sovereignty though just a Middle Power. Thats the issue.

X wanted that US treats China as an equal. Trump gave him that visuals for Xi’s constituency back home. He curtailed the show for the US and rest of the world by playing the media drama just hours before the visit. Do you see it that way? The contest between China and the US is not about who holds a few trump cards — it's a comprehensive contest of industrial systems, technological systems, political systems, and international relations. I believe India also has a few trump cards specifically for dealing with the US, but the core reason the Indian government cannot effectively counter the US is — power.

USA has been running behind a G2 since Obama as USA is reverting to 'Roosevelt's Isolationism' with a balance of power flavour. So, now that China is leading the Second Precision Strike Revolution and has the industrial base to power a world war 3 with endless humanoid robots and AI powered drones, USA wants to return to it's cacoon in the western hemisphere (Monroe doctrine and its corollary).
This has opportunities for Bharat. Talk about that!!

This was bound to happen G2 credit where due China worked really hard ,while India is now free to choose own path and grow rapidly 8% not as a consuption economy rather innovative economy or else we will be eaten by both China and US.I donno how we can do I dont see good sign there is huge corruption in every sector in beurocracy and our industrialist dont wanna have spine in free and open market ,and this Govt is very scare of doing reforms in these area due to loosing election..I really admire Chinese leaders how they stragically import from US and export to US ,while India dont have any liverage due to our corrupt import babu we are not serious short sighted country and our poor middle class hard working suffers!!

For capitalists especially Americans, the Chinese market is a bonanza as it has the best conditions for varied business, profits, consumer base, infrastructure, skilled labour, energy, raw materials, logistics & others. No other country could replicate the Chinese business, manufacturing, production processes & expertise masterfully in a short period.
The world requires China. It has to be appreciated for offering opportunities of growth & development to over 200 countries WITHOUT FIRING a single shot at any country.
USA govt. will never walk the talk truthfully. What is stated today will be different tomorrow. Both Chinese & American geopolitics, culture, ideologies, etc. are based on stark contrasts. Nevertheless, continuous dialogue & diplomacy procedures are vital to bridge crisis, differences & other issues for all beings & planet earth rather than military confrontations.
